The Homebased Daycare Mod adds a new functional career working from home. They make money taking care of toddlers and children while their parents are working. To get started, give your Sim the “Daycare Owner” Trait in CAS. This trait will give them new social interactions with children. Please note they will also show up for adults too.
Now set up your daycare the way you want but be sure to have children’s books, and a playground for recreation. Make sure to have toddlers added into the world so they will show up for spawning. If they do not show up in the event, you may have to actually meet them first. So go out and do some networking with parents and introduce yourself to the toddlers.

Now you’re ready to launch your business. Use the household phone to plan a social event. Select the “Homebased Daycare” event. This event requires a Daycare owner, up to 4 children, up to 4 toddlers. Pick your residence for the location.
Your duties will include reading to the children, cooking and feeding them, and making sure they get outside for physical activity on the playground. You’ll also have to keep everything clean and sanitized. You can end the event when you want or work the entire 8 hour shift. At the end of the event is how you get paid. Bronze is $300, Silver $500, and Gold $800
