This mod adds a functional Vlogger Lolcow career to The Sims 4.
If you want to earn fame you may need Get Famous expansion pack.
From a base game computer select “Start A Vlogging Channel”.
This will give your Sim the Vlogger Trait. This trait unlocks new interactions from the custom vlogger camera.
You can purchase the vlogger camera from build/buy, for $1200.00
Search for “Expensive Vlogging Camera or Vlogging” in build/buy.
Once you have the vlogging camera you can keep it in your Sims’s inventory when not in use.
It will not work from inventory. Place the camera where you’ll do you’re vlogging.
Note: As you move around recording your vlog, you can move the camera too.
Click the camera, select different types of vlogs to record. When you select the type of vlog you’ll be recording a buff will appear. The buff will show you the type of content you’re recording.
Clicking on one of the recording interactions will not create any type of animation, just a buff to let you know you’re recording.
While you’re recording you do anything. Follow whatever kind of storytelling you feel like for the vlog.
For mukbang, have food set out to eat in front of the camera. (may add interactions in an update as if you’re speaking to an audience)
There are 3 emotional vlogs that only appear when your Sim gets a random buff:
-Mental Breakdown
-Unhinged Rant
-Apology Video
When you have these random buffs you can click on the camera to record that type of video. When you start recording it’ll remove the buff.
You can record multiple types of vlogs at one time.
End the recording anytime.
After you’ve ended a recording, you have 24 hours to check a base game computer and edit and upload the video. It will take an hour to edit the video. You’ll earn money and fame for your content.
After you’ve completed the editing and uploading, you’ll have another buff. This buff will unlock comments for the latest vlog. It takes about an hour to go through all the comments.
