Setup your recording studio and record label lot. Set the venue type to generic. Add the Music Mixer Console.

Using a computer, select the “Start A Record Label” interaction. This will give you the required trait.
Use the computer to Hire A Music Industry Lawyer
Meet With The Lawyer:
From your phone, launch a social event. The Meet With Lawyer event. This is non goaled.
Click on the music Lawyer and select, Legal Service. This will give you interactions to tell the lawyer what you want in the contract. You can also just ask for them to prepare the contract for you.
After the lawyer prepares the contract, you’ll have a record contract trait. This trait is removed once you close at least one recording contract with a band member.
Now you’re ready to scout for talent. This can be done from the computer and Manage Record Label menu.
Add at least 4 band members.
Once you have the band members, you can negotiate a recording contract through this non goaled event. Make sure to go through the process of giving each member of the group a contact to sign.
