A few ideas to turn the Concert Venue into a more functional community lot. If you want to be in a band and perform you might need to use the Road To Fame Mod. It’ll allow you to perform in front of a crowd once you’ve leveled up through the music business.
Another way to perform is using animation poses. Takes more work but you can cycle through a stage performance for a crowd.
To attend a concert I suggest setting the venue type to nightclub. That’ll get a bartender to serve drinks and other Sims to show up. Use animated deco Sims as a band. They’ll perform as long as you want. Then use animated concert deco sims to stand up and dance to the music, or sit static.
