This mod adds an acting workshop social event to The Sims 4.
Requires Get Famous Expansion Pack
You need at least level 1 acting skill to attend the acting workshop. Use the Practice Acting mirror interaction.
How This Works
The first thing you’ll need to do is create and assign an acting instructor. Click on the NPC you want to the Acting Instructor. Select Add Acting Instructor Trait from the “Create Acting Instructor” social menu. This will give the NPC a trait. You can also remove the trait if needed.
Now your ready to take acting lessons if needed. Use your phone to start a social event. The workshop will cost $250. But if you goal the event you’ll get $50 of that back. Select your Sim as the Aspiring Actor. Select the Acting Instructor. If they do not appear you’ll need to make sure they’re in the same world or close by. Select up to 8 random acting students to attend the workshop with you.
Follow and goal the event.
During the event, click on the Acting Instructor to get a variety of lessons. These interactions are all tell a story type interactions and will either give your Sim a small boost in acting skill or large. So these workshops are intended to make it easy to build up your acting skill.
