Wicked Whims has a realistic pregnancy system that you can customize in the settings menu. You can block any sim from getting pregnant or insure they 100% can get pregnant. To make the process realistic there are different fertility modes that govern those chances. For example if you want to base getting pregnant on the menstrual cycle or strictly on percentages.
To get pregnant you’ll need to woohoo or have sex. Doesn’t matter if they’re married or anything like that and of course males can get pregnant too via CAS or alien abduction. If it’s a new relationship then by default your sim cannot instantly have sex and get another sim pregnant. They will have to start out as friends and build up the romance. Otherwise the sim asking for sex will get rejected, embarrassed, and eventually lose progress with friendship and romance.
Once you have smooth talked a sim into having sex with your sim be aware they might be infertile or using birth control. Head over into settings to disable birth control in that case. If you are using the menstrual cycle mode for sims to get pregnant then you’ll need to have sex on their fertile days. This occurs towards the end of the sim’s menstrual cycle.
You can get pregnancy information on a sim by entering the cheat code “testingcheats true” into the cheat console. Hold down the “shift” key and click on the sim. Using the “Wicked Whims” menu, find “Pregnancy Info”. There’s a lot more info there too if needed.
