How To Setup A Record Label And Recording Studio
Create a record label or recording studio. You can also create a lot with both. Give the lot either venue type. Record Label, Recording Studio.
Required Items:
-Basegame Guitar
-Basegame Microphone
-Get To Work Mix Master Music Station
In CAS give you Sim the Record Label trait located in the lifestyle category.
Note: For All Computer Interactions To Appear Use The All-In-One Power PC.
Troubleshooting:
If you do not see the computer interactions make sure you have the basegame computer listed above.
Try changing the desk and chair until you see the interactions. Sometimes they’ll glitch computers with my mods.
Make sure your Sim has the Record Label trait.
Move to another lot.
In game settings, script mods are enabled.
Your game is updated to the latest version.
From your residential lot, locate the “Record Label” menu. Select the lot you previously setup.
Avoid using the retail business UI except for selling the venue.
Once you purchase the lot it’ll revert back to Generic.
From the computer hire a musician, audio engineer, and vocal artist. They’re required for the recording session social event.
If this is empty, head back to the computer and hire someone else that might be in that world.
Goal the recording session. You earn $1000 for bronze, $2000 for silver, and $3000 for gold. This will help you recoup some of the high expense of creating an album.
How The Guitar Works
-The recording session requires you to “Record Music Tracks”. This interaction will not create the track. Use the “Make Music Track” interaction afterwards to send the track to your Sim’s inventory. The music track is required to create a full album.
How The Microphone Works
-Record Vocals and then use the Make Vocal Track interaction.
How The Mix Master Music Station Works
-Create And Album, then use the Create A Full Album interaction. This interaction requires you have the vocal tracks and music track in your inventory.
Upload the album to the music streaming service. Don’t forget to collect music royalties every 24 hours from the computer. You can collect this money with or without an album. The daily $2500 will help you pay for recording studio sessions.
