Getting Started
In CAS give your Sim the Psychiatrist trait located in the lifestyle category.
Running An Office
The first thing you’ll need to do is Start A New Client Session from the All In One PC (base game). This interaction will spawn your first client. When the client arrives perform a mental health assessment. Click on the new client, Mental Health Services social menu, and select Mental Health Assessment.
You’ll need to ask the client a couple of questions to get an idea of what they have an issue with. When you ask the new client to describe what’s happening to them, a new menu will appear behind the “Mental Health Assessment” menu. This will be the issue they’re dealing with.
There are several potential mental disorders
-Anxiety
-Bipolar
-Depression
-Borderline Personality Disorder
-Eating Disorder
-Psychosis
Once you know the issue they’re dealing with, click on that menu to uncover new interactions. These interactions will further dive into the problem with a few questions. You can also make an official diagnosis through this menu.
When making a diagnosis, the new client will become your regular client. You can also prescribe medication and send them to appropriate group therapy at any time.
Regular Clients will have a new social menu behind the Mental Health Services menu called, Mental Health Client Session.
Mental Health Clients (regular clients)
You can hold sessions with your regular clients to help them stay on track and manage their disorder. You can also continue to send them to groups and prescribe medication.
Using your phone, start a social event. Goal the event to earn regular income from clients.
