This mod will add the ability for teens to feel sad and talk about being unhappy before they runaway from home. They can plan their runaway and learn how to survive on the streets.
How This Works
In CAS give your teen runaway the “Troubled Teen” trait. This trait will unlock several new social interactions and the ability to research running away from home on the computer. When you use some of these interactions your teen will start to develop the “Street Survival” skill.
Street Survival Skill
Level 1 – Acquire the skill
Level 2 – You can beg for food
Level 3 – You can beg for money
Level 4 – You can mess around for money (Date)
Level 5 – You can sell drugs (Non Functional Drugs)
Begging for food has a potential to fail and you Sim will get a buff either way. Kind Sims will give them some fruit to survive on.
Begging for money has a potential to fail with a buff either way and will loot a random amount of money.
Mess Around for money works just like the social interaction to ask someone on a date. It’ll will trigger an event. Goal the date to earn money.
Selling drugs is an interaction that will merely loot a buff and money. No functional drugs included.
How To Runaway
Just leave your lot without a parent and head off somewhere to start your homeless journey. It’s recommended you have a little Street Survival skill so you have ways to earn money on the streets.
Seeking Missing Teens
This is optional. You can give a parent, teen sibling, or guardian the Seeking Missing Teen trait. This will unlock a computer menu called “Police Department”. You can file a missing person report and upload misc files to help with their investigation.
Sim with this trait can go around asking if anyone has seen their teen.
Teens Returning Home
If you want the teen to return just go home like you normally would. Your teen will still have troubled teen trait which you may want to remove. New gameplay is in development to add for returning home.
