Paralives released today in Early Access. This is a new alternative to The Sims 4, although playing both games is reasonable. I’ve only spent a few minutes with the game and will dive into features and gameplay over the next few days.
Starting out isn’t difficult. The game’s tutorial walks you through the process. I was relieved that my para turned out the way I liked.
Create-A-Para, is the game’s character creator system that gives you arrow pointed controls. You can customize Parafolk with adjustable heights, detailed facial editing, layered outfits, and flexible body customization tools that make every character feel unique with the much needed color wheel.
I didn’t get too deep into personality making just yet.
After creating my Para I got my first look at the open world. It’s actually a lot bigger than I thought and will have to figure out what kind of gameplay I want to get into. Like The Sims 4, I love playing rags to riches, so that’s probably a starting point.
